It was recently brought to my attention by interested parties, that there has been a recent upsurge in 'cutekitty' photos on the Newsvine.
Now, I have no particular bias for or against cutekittys; some of my best
friends acquaintances have been cutekittys, but I have agreed to represent my canine friends based on what I believe is their fair complaint of an unbalanced photo-representation on this forum of late.
They do not ask that anyone halt posting cutekittys, after all, canines do enjoy looking at images of, [and playing with] small fuzzy objects like cutekittys...they remind them of somewhat overly furry tennis balls actually.
Instead, my friends ask me to request that during some of the member's compulsive acts of posting 'feline sugar & fur', they remember that domestic cats aren't the ones that find lost humans or chase off threats. There are no 'sled-cat' teams in the Iditarod race, nor professional 'cat-tracks' for betting on the outcome of the speediest, and playing 'fetch' with a cat is, well, rather pointless.
